Mallory Park

Snetterton - June 16/17/18

The sun shone at Mallory in complete contrast to the weather at Mondello and made some exciting racing. But changes to the circuit since last season brought a series of accidents as the bikes braked into the tight chicane for the first time from around 120mph.

Remarkably however the Supersport riders all negotiated this chicane without incident on the first lap and a tight race followed between Eugene Laverty and Cal Crutchlow with Cal getting the win.

Denver Robb finished 6 th in the Supersport Cup which has now put him up to 7 th in the championship, with only 9 points now separating him from 4 th man Matt Layt it is hoped that a good score at Snetterton, will push him further up the table.
