Andover Trailers’ sales department
specialises in providing customers with bespoke engineering
support, rather than just straight sales support. With
the specialist and technical nature of the equipment
it is not possible to carry out a straight sales function.
Andover Trailers offers a range of
beavertail plant bodies from 7.5 to 32 tonnes; centre
balance and conventional draw-bar trailers from 6 to
30 tonnes; step frame low loaders from 28 to 95 tonnes;
and drop well low loaders of 28 to 120 tonnes. The
Goldhofer range of equipment ranges from the 6 tonne
draw-bar up to modular equipment to carry 10,000 tonnes.
This range includes conventional draw-bar trailers,
step frame trailers, triple extend flat trailers to
triple extend drop well low loaders, wind mill equipment,
modular trailers, aircraft tugs and recovery equipment.
To cover this wide range Andover Trailers
sales department is headed by Ivan Collins, sales director.
Scottish-based Stewart Tindal looks after Scotland
and Ireland; Clive Jones, is responsible for England
and Wales, and Plant Body sales manager Simon Buckle
gives additional support and looks after the specification
of this part of the range.
Customers come to Andover because they
rely on our expertise in knowing which product is best
suited to carry their load, with the benefits and drawbacks
of each type of product. When appointing a sales person
we look for a good understanding of engineering and
knowledge of the product, plus the ability to be able
to talk and sell it to customers.
The sales department is backed by a
good aftersales department headed by Richard Maber
and service engineer, Paul Brown.
Andover prides itself in having products
which are seen in the marketplace to be ‘Better
by Design’ and sold by a team who understand
the needs of the customer. Furthermore, those needs
are matched to the correct equipment from a vast range
to move the load safely and with the maximum return
for the operator. |
